Sparrow's Nightmares leave our cattery
earliest at the age of 14 to 16 weeks with a personal, up to
date health certificate showing their chip number. Each baby is
tested for Leukose and FIV - if desired we will also do
a FIP screening (laboratory blood test by Laboklin). All our
babies are completely inoculated, early spayed/early
neutered and micro-chipped - if desired also
tattooed. We will bring them personally to their new homes. They
will come with protection contracts and copies of their
parents´test certificates (HCM (echo & DNA), PKD
and HD).
Our kittens are strictly indoor cats.
If, however, you can provide them with a secure outdoor run, they will
surely appreciate the fresh air.
So far - from 1999 to 2008 -
we have given our babies exclusively into pet-loving homes.
In the future we are prepared to consider
selling selected kittens to responsible breeders.
However, we will always prefer giving our babies to pet homes.
We will
only give kittens for breeding to breeders who
have their (chipped!) breeding cats tested regularly for (at
least) HCM and can give us appropriate references for a fair and
affectionate attitude towards their animals. They have to be
members of a cat club! We expect the new owner/s
to be prepared to keep in contact with us in the interest of
the cat entrusted to them, as well as the acceptance of special
contracts, which will permit only a limited number of
the cat´s offspring to go to other breeders.
We do not
give kittens to breeders who having "used" their
breeding cats, will sell them for "further
production" to other catteries!
